I want to update you on our progress with Project Phoenix, our new customer relationship management system. Overall, we are on track to meet our March 31 deadline, but there are some areas that require immediate attention.
The backend development team, led by Sarah Kim, has completed 85% of the database architecture. The new system will integrate seamlessly with our existing infrastructure, and preliminary testing shows a 40% improvement in data retrieval speed compared to our current system. Excellent work!
However, the frontend development is experiencing delays. Michael Chen's team has encountered unexpected compatibility issues with mobile devices. To address this, I've authorized overtime for the frontend team for the next three weeks. Additionally, we're bringing in two contract developers with mobile expertise to assist. They will start on January 25.
The QA team, under Jennifer Lopez, will begin comprehensive testing on February 1, earlier than originally scheduled. This adjustment will give us extra time to identify and resolve any critical bugs before the launch.
Our client presentations are scheduled for March 15-20. Marketing has requested that we provide demo materials by March 1, so please prioritize features that will be showcased during these presentations.
